The Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) invites high-value goods dealers to a webinar on topics covering registration with the FIC, notices that have been issued, submission of risk and compliance returns and of risk management and compliance programme.
The webinar will cover:
The obligation to submit risk and compliance returns as well as risk management and compliance programmes.
Public compliance communication 58, which provides specific guidance for HVGDs on the interpretation of item 20 in Schedule 1 of the FIC Act.
The compliance obligation of registration with the FIC.
An overview of the different types of regulatory reports that must be submitted to the FIC, including suspicious and unusual transaction reports, cash threshold reports and terrorist property reports.
